IT SPECIALIST (OS) (DIBS/GFEBS)

The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army. As a IT Specialist (OS), you will be supporting a critical acquisition software system that the U.S. Army needs to operate every day. The General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) product office develops, acquires, integrates, deploys, and sustains enterprise-wide financial and procurement management capabilities to support the Army's current and future missions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of complex system engineering, network engineering, integration, and implementation.
• Responsible for a variety of analysis and systems design activities in design, development, systems integration, and acquisition of software, hardware, and telecommunications. Identifies network, hardware, software information assurance requirements
• Integrates the various subsystems engineering products to ensure proper interfacing and attainment of established objectives.
• Executes normal/daily IA activities such sustaining requirements for robust IA programs, maintaining the Risk Management Framework and managing Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) programs.
• Identifies and balances risks, selects alternatives, and plans how to best accomplish the goals and objectives of the project within recognized guidelines.
• Visits sites worldwide to conduct preliminary and final site design reviews.
• Reviews input from team leaders at integrated logistics systems sites worldwide for appropriateness of requests, availability of resources, and compatibility with the integrated logistics effort.
• Develops and defense documentations, presentations and briefing charts to leadership as required.
