Ms. Gina Whitaker

In June 2024, Gina Whitaker assumed the role of product director, Army Human Resource Systems (AHRS) at Program Executive Office (PEO) Enterprise. In that capacity, she is responsible for leading the product office that provides installation and field commanders worldwide with essential, state-of-the-art, cost-effective and standardized, knowledge-based automation tools.

From April to June 2024, Whitaker served as deputy product director of AHRS, providing support to the former product director. Prior to that, she was the life cycle manager for AHRS from 2022 to 2024. In that role, she worked with experts in the development, implementation, execution and reporting of the Life Cycle Management Division’s personnel, functions and activities.

Before that, Whitaker was the operations and support division chief for the Army Training Information System from 2020 to 2022, where she managed all aspects of the Army Learning Management System, including acquisition oversight, planning and establishment of funding resources, technical requirements development, contract implementation, engineering, test and acceptance, and life cycle management.

From 2016 to 2020, Whitaker was the assistant product manager for the Range Facility Management Support System with Integrated Personnel and Pay System – Army. In that role, she managed all aspects of RFMSS, including acquisition oversight, planning and establishing funding resources, technical requirements development, contract implementation, engineering, test and acceptance, and life cycle management.

Other past positions included configuration manager for the Defense Wide Transmission System and for the General Fund Enterprise Business System, and chief technical officer for Product Management Joint-Automatic Identification Technology.

Whitaker holds a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Jacksonville State University. She has advanced Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act certification in Program Management and practitioner-level certification in Engineering and Technical Management.
