FORT BELVOIR, VA, April 23, 2018 - Army Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS), in coordination with the Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI), awarded a contract extension for the Army Desktop and Mobile Computing - 2 (ADMC-2), a $6.545 billion Indefinite-Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract, on April 20, 2018. The ADMC-2 contract vehicle has been extended in six months increments for up to 24 months. The ADMC-2 ceiling has increased from $5.675 billion to $6.545 billion. The ADMC-2 provides ID/IQ contract vehicles specifically designed as the primary source for information technology equipment to integrate, support, modernize and refresh the Army's net-centric architecture while providing standardized interfaces. ADMC-2 includes standard common configurations of laptops and desktops (as well as tablets, monitors, printers, ruggedized and semi-ruggedized devices) that meet Army requirements and GSS standards configurations.
The extension applies to the following vendors:
- W91QUZ-06-D-0001 - Telos

- W91QUZ-06-D-0005 - ITG
- W91QUZ-06-D-0006 - Transource

This extension of the ordering period is intended to bridge the Army's ability to purchase hardware until award of the Army Desktop Mobile Computing - 3 (ADMC-3) suite of contracts. ADMC-3 was awarded February 16, 2017, and is currently under protest and being review at the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC).
