The Army’s journey to modernize recruiting business processes hit a key benchmark in November when Program Executive Office Enterprise’s Accessions Information Environment (AIE) provided an initial software solution to early adopters at the Ohio National Guard Recruiting and Retention Battalion.

Integrated Personnel and Pay System — Army (IPPS-A) leaders shared insights about how they approach software acquisition during the organization's first Broadcast to Industry event on Oct. 10.

Gina Whitaker, a longtime defense acquisition professional with experience spanning several PEO EIS programs, officially assumed the charter for the Army Human Resource Systems (AHRS) product office July 9. 

Accessions Information Environment (AIE) leaders shared a preview of mobile-friendly recruiting software with Ohio National Guard recruiters June 26 in Crystal City, Virginia.

Maj. Amanda Roth, an assistant product manager for Operational Medicine Information Systems — Army (OMIS-A), is passionate about the Army’s mission to modernize operational health information technology solutions for deployed Soldiers.

“I've been very lucky to work for great Army leaders,” said Judith Avery, deputy product lead for Accessions Information Environment (AIE) and Reserve Component Automation System (RCAS)/Force Management System (FMS), two programs that are part of the Integrated Personnel and Pay System — Army (IPPS-A) portfolio.

Born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, Maj. Stuart Anderson grew up in an Army family committed to serving others. Anderson, the Department of the Army Systems Coordinator (DASC) for the Integrated Personnel and Pay System — Army (IPPS-A) Increment II and Operational Medicine and Information System – Army (OMIS-A) programs, enjoys helping people solve problems. “As a former assistant program manager, I understand the pressure to get stuff done and make progress,” Anderson said. “I try to make myself a Swiss Army knife by being as useful to leaders as possible.”

Integrated Personnel and Pay System — Army (IPPS-A) is leveraging industry’s Agile best practices to deliver new capabilities faster and in smaller increments, according to a panel of IPPS-A leaders who hosted a breakout session May 14 at AFCEA Belvoir Industry Days.
