Lt. Col. Camille Morgan assumed the role of product manager, Army Contract Writing System (ACWS) at PEO Enterprise in July 2024. In that role, she is responsible for overseeing material development and deployment of the ACWS, which will provide a single, enterprise-wide contract writing management software system for the entire Army contracting community.

Before joining PEO Enterprise, Morgan completed a Training with Industry fellowship at global consulting firm McKinsey & Company.

From 2021 to 2024, she was assigned to the U.S. Army Acquisition Support Center (USAASC) where she served as a proponency officer to the director of USAASC and director of Acquisition Career Management at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. In 2021, Morgan was also selected to serve as the assistant executive officer to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology (ASA(ALT)).

Prior to that, from 2019 to 2021, she served as the G-3/5/7 future operations contract plans officer at Army Contracting Command (ACC) – Headquarters, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. Her assigned duties focused on planning, resourcing, deployments and readiness for combatant command-named operations and exercises. She then became the executive officer to the ACC’s commanding general.

In 2018, Morgan established the very first Regional Contracting Office (RCO) 727th Contracting Team at Camp Casey, South Korea to support the 2nd Infantry Division within the U.S. Forces Korea — a sub-unified command of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of operations. She also served as team leader and contracting officer for the 670th Contracting Team RCO Kunsan at Kunsan Air Base, South Korea to support the 8th Fighter Wing.

In 2011, she served as a company grade officer for Bravo Company 1st of 13th Battalion Bravo Company, 193rd Infantry Brigade at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. As an acquisition officer, she served as the contracting management officer for the 0867th Contracting Team Fort Dix, New Jersey and as a team leader for the 658th Contracting Team with U.S. Army Reserves’ 915th Contracting Battalion in Baltimore, Maryland. She has served as a warranted contracting officer and deputy division chief of the construction and supply division with the 411th Contracting Support Brigade, 906th Contracting Battalion at U.S. Army Garrison Yongsan, South Korea.

In 2004, LTC Morgan was assigned to the 44th Medical Command (MEDCOM) - Headquarters at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where she served as the deputy G-2 military intelligence staff officer and later deployed to Baghdad, Iraq’s “Green Zone” with the 44th MEDCOM. In 2005, she became the 32nd Medical Logistics Battalion Alpha Company executive officer at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. From 2006-2008 she went to LSA Anaconda Balad, Iraq where she served as the S-6 signal and communications officer for the 32nd Medical Logistics Battalion. In 2008, she served as the S-3 current operations officer for the 93rd Signal Brigade “Lightning Warriors” at Fort Eustis, Virginia.

Morgan initially enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves in 1996 as a 68W combat medic and served with the U.S. Army Reserves Training Center in Orangeburg, New Jersey while completing her undergraduate studies at

Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. While at Morgan State, she enrolled in the Reserve Officers' Training Corps and received a Bachelor of Science in business marketing.

Morgan holds a Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act professional-level certification in Contracting.

Morgan’s decorations include the Bronze Star, the Army Meritorious Service Medal, 4th Oak Leaf Cluster, the Army Commendation Medal, 6th Oak Leaf Cluster, the Army Achievement Medal, 6th Oak Leaf Cluster and various other awards, including the Parachutist Badge.
