LTG Williamson Visits PEO EIS

LTG Michael Williamson, the Principal Military Deputy (MILDEP) to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology (ASAALT) paid a brief visit to Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) headquarters Dec. 2, 2014. LTG Williamson was accompanied by ASA(ALT) Command Sergeant Major Rory Malloy and met with Mr. Douglas Wiltsie, PEO EIS, and his senior staff before touring the program offices.
The LTG Williamson received briefings on key program efforts and met with PEO leadership, program managers and Fort Belvoir staff members. LTG Williamson and CSM Malloy received orientation briefings on Defense Communications and Army Transmission Systems (DCATS); Installation Information Infrastructure Communications and Capabilities (I3C2); Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS); Force Management System (FMS) and Acquisition Business (AcqBusiness).
The relaxed engagement allowed PEO EIS teams to highlight recent program developments and share their success stories. The MILDEP will visit EIS program offices located at the Hoffman building in Alexandria, Virginia, in early 2015.
