DEVELOPMENTAL OPPORTUNITY: IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC)
The director of human resources has posted a developmental opportunity for an IT specialist (INFOSEC) information systems security manager within Program Manager Defensive Cyber Operations (PM DCO). The position, not to exceed six months, is responsible for managing overall project cybersecurity requirements and DOD certification and authorization processes for the PM DCO portfolio, family of systems, infrastructure, system, software and product levels. The position is designated non-critical sensitive and will require the selected candidate to hold or be eligible to obtain a secret security clearance. TRAINING OPPORTUNITY: INSPIRING AND DEVELOPING EXCELLENCE IN ACQUISITION LEADERS (IDEAL) FY 2021
The IDEAL program is accepting applications from June 2 to July 28, 2020. This popular leader development program designed for GS-12s and GS-13s (and broadband equivalent) is targeted to future acquisition leaders seeking to prepare themselves prior to assuming formal supervisory and leadership roles. COHORT 2022 DEFENSE COMPROLLERSHIP PROGRAM
Applications are now being accepted for the Defense Comptrollership Program (DCP), a joint, premier academic program at Syracuse University, Martin J. Whitman School of Management and Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. The 14-month, 60-hour graduate curriculum postures financial management (FM) leaders to deal with complex fiscal and economic challenges at both operational and strategic levels. Successful completion of the DCP yields a master of business administration with concentration in business analytics, an executive master of public administration and a test-based FM professional credential. The long-term training begins May 12, 2021 and concludes July 22, 2022. Interested applicants are to submit all supporting documents listed in Attachment 4 to Human Resource Development for consolidation and staffing. A draft command endorsement in Microsoft Word format is required with submissions no later than August 20, 2020.
