  2. Gus Burnside is a go-getter

    Gus Burnside, II, product lead for the Army Enterprise Staff Management System (AESMS) program, is today’s #PEOEISTeammateTuesday. Before joining PEO EIS, Burnside supported the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Counternarcotics and Global Threats at U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) managing counternarcotics and law-enforcement programs for 11 African countries. He answered seven questions about his career and life.
  3. Brent Thomas aims to increase services spend under management

    Brent Thomas, the product lead for Human Resource (HR) Solutions, is today’s #PEOEISTeammateTuesday. Brent has more than 24 years of acquisition experience and currently manages a $7.6 billion assisted-acquisition-management program that awards contracts for Army and Department of Defense customers. He ended his impressive 22-year service in the Army as a senior acquisition officer at Fort Knox managing material capability requirements for platform battle command systems. An Iowa native with a thirst for adventure, he enjoys off-road motorcycle riding. Thomas answered eight questions about his career and life.

    Toni Freeland, product officer for Command Centers in the Installation Information Infrastructure Modernization Program (I3MP), is today’s #PEOEISTeammateTuesday. Tenacious, reliable and loyal, she started her career 21 years ago when a defense contractor hired her as a software test analyst supporting the Joint Interoperability Test Command’s work on the Global Command and Control System – Joint. She answered nine questions about her career and life.

  7. Jeff Joo is a jack of all trades and master of one

    April 14, 2020
    Jeff Joo, the program officer for Satellite Terminal Systems, began supporting the Army in 1998 as a student trainee pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Born in South Korea, his family moved to New Jersey when Joo was five-years old. When not working, Joo enjoys spending time with his family, jogging and playing ultimate frisbee. He answered 10 questions about his career and life.
  8. 8 key takeaways from GFIM Industry Day

    PEO EIS hosted its very first virtual industry day on March 20 to acquire industry feedback about an Army plan to award at least three Other Transaction Authority (OTA) prototypes demonstrating business processes that support deploy-to-redeploy and retrograde (D2RR) of materiel.
