Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) hosted the quarterly PEO Cross-Service Summit in McLean, Virginia on April 7.

PEO EIS’ Integrated Enterprise Network (IEN) project management office held a renaming ceremony on March 16 for its Power Projection Enablers (P2E) product office, which now is officially known as Global Enterprise Network Modernization – OCONUS (GENM-O).

On March 30, PEO EIS’s Global Enterprise Network Modernization – OCONUS (GENM-O) Product Manager (PdM) Tom Dunaway discussed the Army’s network modernization initiatives during a keynote speech at an AFCEA Belvoir monthly luncheon event in Springfield, Virginia. The event brought industry and government officials together in the same room to discuss unified network business opportunities and solutions for the first time in over two years.

Back in January 2022, Army Deputy Chief of Staff, G-6 Lt. Gen. John Morrison said there were two priorities for setting unified network operations (UNO) in support of multi-domain operations: figuring out how to do UNO at the tactical edge and creating the requirements definition package for identity, credential and access management (ICAM).
