PEO EIS’s Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) team, led by Product Lead Wayne Sok, kicked off AFCEA Belvoir Industry Days (ABID) Nov. 3 with a panel discussion about current and future opportunities.

Making his first in-person appearance at AFCEA Belvoir Industry Days since taking the helm at PEO EIS in May 2020, Program Executive Officer Ross Guckert held a Nov. 4 keynote address and participated in a panel with other service PEOs the following day.

PEO EIS’s Army Vantage program is playing a pivotal role in helping military leaders gain accurate insight into Soldier immunization rates against COVID-19, as well as the Army’s COVID-19 vaccine inventory worldwide.

PEO EIS’s Power Projection Enablers (P2E) — whose mission is to modernize infrastructure and information technology for stakeholders outside the continental United States — recently completed a multi-year project to engineer, furnish, install, secure and test critical facility infrastructure at the Consolidated Intelligence Center (CIC) at Clay Kaserne in Wiesbaden, Germany.

PEO EIS’s Defense Communications and Army Transmission Systems (DCATS) hosted a change of charter and renaming ceremony Sept. 30 for its Installation Information Infrastructure Modernization Program (I3MP) product office, which now is officially known as Global Enterprise Network Modernization – Americas (GENM-A).

A year to the day after the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) migrated from PEO EIS’s data portfolio to its enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems portfolio, the Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-Army) product office did the same — joining the Defense Integrated Business Systems (DIBS) family on Oct. 1.

PEO EIS’s Global Force Information Management (GFIM) product office — tasked with developing a platform that integrates force structure, readiness, mobilization and requirements validation to meet service and Global Force Management requirements — is kicking off agile capability development sprints this month for two Phase 1 prototypes awarded in August.
