In collaboration with the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), as well as all 11 U.S. combatant commands, the Army recently supported the third iteration of the Global Information Dominance Experiment (GIDE 3) by demonstrating interoperability between Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems’ (PEO EIS) Army Vantage program and data feeds from each service and combatant command.

PEO EIS’s Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) hosted a change of charter ceremony at Fort Belvoir on July 28 for the Cyber Platforms and Systems (CPS) product office, bidding farewell to outgoing product manager Lt. Col. Mike Lind and welcoming Lt. Col. Brad Son as his replacement.

On Aug. 8, PEO EIS’s Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) became the third Army enterprise resource planning (ERP) program to complete its data and operations migration to the cloud.

As part of the Army’s overarching strategy to align its legacy enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems with an enterprise management model, PEO EIS’s General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) — part of the Defense Integrated Business Systems (DIBS) portfolio — is in the process of migrating sustainment of its financial management ERP system for classified customers to the Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Software Engineering Center (SEC) Army Shared Services Center (SSC).

Thomas (Tom) Dunaway assumed command of Power Projection Enablers (P2E), a product office within PEO EIS’s Defense Communications and Army Transmission Systems (DCATS) portfolio, during a change of charter ceremony at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, June 25.

Ronald (Ron) Crevecoeur is the acting director of the Acquisitions & Systems Management/Strategic Initiatives Group at PEO EIS.

Following a busy month of charter ceremonies, we now have a brief hiatus until the end of August and early fall, when a few more organizational and leadership changes take place at PEO EIS.

Tim Hale assumed the charter for PEO EIS’s Army Training Information System (ATIS) product office at a hybrid in-person/virtual ceremony held July 15 at the ATIS office in Newport News, Virginia. Col. Rob Wolfe, project manager, Army Data and Analytics Platforms (PM ARDAP), hosted the event.

Preston Hayward accepted the charter for PEO EIS’s Enterprise Business Systems – Convergence (EBS-C) product office at a hybrid in-person/virtual ceremony held July 16 on Fort Belvoir.
